Usage

Can I eat MILKABOO lactation treats during pregnancy?
We don’t recommend consuming our lactation treats while pregnant, as some ingredients are specifically intended to support breastfeeding and may not be suitable during pregnancy.

I'm expecting—when should I place my order?
If you're planning ahead, we suggest ordering your lactation snacks around three weeks before your due date. That way, you’ll have them ready to enjoy right after your baby arrives to help support your milk supply from the start.

Can I still enjoy MILKABOO treats if my baby isn’t a newborn anymore?
Absolutely! Our treats are great for any stage of your breastfeeding journey—whether your baby is a few weeks or several months old. They’re designed to give your milk supply a gentle boost and provide nourishing support whenever you need it.

Are there any known side effects?
We encourage you to review the full ingredient list on each product page to make sure there’s nothing you’re allergic to. At the bottom of each listing, you’ll find detailed ingredient and allergen information.
Important: Our kitchen handles nuts (tree nuts and peanuts), gluten, dairy, and coconut. If you have severe allergies, be sure to consult your healthcare provider before trying our products.

My milk supply is fine—should I still use MILKABOO?
If you're already producing enough milk, you may not need additional support. But if you're looking to nourish your body post-baby or want a little boost without overstimulating milk production, try starting with a smaller serving—like half a cup of granola per day—and see how your body responds. You can adjust as needed.

Storage

What’s the best way to store my Lactation Treats?
Once your MILKABOO treats arrive, you can keep them in either your pantry or fridge—whichever works best for you.

Pantry: Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness for up to 6 weeks.
Refrigerator: Keeps fresh for up to 3 months.

Refrigeration isn’t required if you plan to enjoy them within a month and a half.

How long do the treats stay fresh during shipping?
Our lactation treats are made fresh to order and are crafted to stay shelf-stable during transit. Most orders arrive within 1 to 1.5 weeks, and the treats remain fresh throughout the shipping process for up to that time frame.

MILKABOO Granola

How much Lactation Granola should I eat daily?
We suggest beginning with one cup per day. If, after about four days, you feel you could use more support, you can gradually increase to 1.5 cups daily and monitor how your body responds.

I’m already taking fenugreek supplements. Can I still eat MILKABOO treats?
Yes! Our lactation products are fenugreek-free, so they can be safely used alongside your current supplement routine.

I finished the 14-day supply and noticed an improvement in my milk production. Do I need to keep taking the treats to maintain my supply?
If your supply has stabilized and your body is keeping up with demand, there's no need to continue using the treats unless you want to. Unlike some supplements, our treats don’t require a tapering period—you can simply stop when you feel your supply is consistent.

Shipping

Do you ship orders?
Yes! We proudly ship anywhere in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and Puerto Rico, using USPS Priority Mail. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your order and are combined whenever possible to minimize cost. Most multi-item orders are packed together in one box.
Note: We currently do not offer international shipping.

How long does it take to receive my order?
Once your order is placed, you can expect it to arrive within 1 to 1.5 weeks. This includes production and shipping time.

Will my Lactation Treats stay fresh during delivery?
Absolutely. All of our treats are made fresh and are shelf-stable for up to 1.5 weeks during transit. They’re crafted to arrive in perfect condition.

I live or work in Rochester, NY—can I avoid shipping fees?
Yes! We offer local pickup at our Rochester location every Wednesday through Friday between 12 PM and 4 PM.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Orders of $75 or more (before tax and after discounts) qualify for free USPS Priority Mail shipping within the U.S.

Subtotals must hit $75 after discounts
Taxes do not count toward the free shipping minimum
Orders under $75 will have standard shipping rates applied

Other FAQ

How soon will I notice a difference?
Every mama’s body is unique, so results can vary. Some notice an increase within 1 to 3 days, while others may take up to two weeks or longer. In some cases, there may be no noticeable change. For the best chance at results, we suggest using our products consistently for at least one month.

Are results guaranteed?
No, we can’t guarantee results since each individual responds differently. While many moms see a boost in their supply, others may not. Please refer to our full disclaimer for more details.

Do you accept returns or give refunds?
Because our products are handmade and food-based, we’re unable to accept returns or issue refunds once an item has shipped.

My package didn’t arrive—what should I do?
If your order hasn’t shown up, we recommend reaching out to your local post office first—they’ll have the most accurate tracking information. While we don't have control over packages once they leave our hands, feel free to contact us if you’ve already spoken with your post office and still need assistance. We’ll do our best to help!
